Most should work, the autozone $18 shackles are universal fit. They also have a beefy lowering shackle which may work it's solid black, has a cross-member and sells for $30, it is not adjustable though. You just need to find one that fits the width of your frame and leaf.

hmm i am hoping to get around 2-2.5 from shackles not the 1.25-1.5 from war

and i am sketchy on the autozone even though i have read they hold up fine..

and just maybe put the holes im not using with bolts to get some support...

i was hoping someone knew the magical size and say ranger shackles would work too :D

IIRC Copperhead shackles should give you 2'' of lift.............I'll confirm next week when I put them on! And they sell cheaper then WAR153, ugly but look indestructible!!

Go with the Auto Zone ones. They are 100% fine, i've had them for over 3 years now and put hard desert race course miles on mine.

ive also looked at copperheads but not enough reviews...

i think ima go see what autozne has, jut spray paint em black so you cant see the shiny things..

if they go down o well.. let tha fun begin!

X2 for the autozone shackles, spraypainted mine black and put the end with the extra holes up top so you don't notice they are different as much.

I ordered these a week ago today.

http://copperheadfab.com/index.php?action=productview&productid=165

Ive emailed them twice with no response and havnt received them yet. Should be 5-7 days shipping. If I dont get them by tuesday im filing a paypal dispute and posting a ton of bad reviews.

Looks like a decent product though... :-/

To get 2.5" of lift from the shackles you will need shackles about 10.5" long. Thats pretty long and there will be quite a bit of stress on them. If I were going to run shackles that long I would want a set that was tied together (center bar) with some gusseting. 8.5" long shackles (War-153) are already looking pretty long and no matter what you do, you will be able to tell its a shackle lift.

yea im not worried about the whole shackle lift.. i will spray paint em black, and theres a trailer hitch that blocks em too, i just want a bi better look from the stock explo..

i will do the autozone shackles on the max bolt they will do, and torsion as much as i can, but not over 2

ok so i measured 2 inches on both sides, but it took about 10 full turns

put autozone shackles on the back and the back still sits a bit low

but is it bad if i only have it to 2 inches but 10 twists it took?

i think i will lower it to 8 to even it out..

was it hard to turn the TT bolts?

I'm looking at getting the 3 Leaf Fab shackles custom made by them for my X.

http://www.3leaffab.com/

They are the same price shipped as the Warriors but I am looking at the 2" lift.

hmm i might add a leaf to get the back at 2.5 or a bit more..

but the bolts were very easy to turn, with some wd40, the car is IFS so just jack up one side at a time..
