I got a 1999 B4000 troy Lee....

I have a flooring company and use it for work. Problem is the rear springs are flat and really sag when loaded. I had to sell off my explorer (off road toy) so i plan to use the B4000 as a mild mudder/off road and work truck untli I find a new toy.

Anyway, I am gonna add a leaf (1.5 to 2") to get some load capicity back and lift the rear, also do the TTL in front. Maybe a body lift. I have a set of 33 off my exp that I want to run.

My question is about the shocks. Do I need the extended shocks with this set up. I was reading that some guys thought it helped. If so, what brand is best for my application? I dont care about ride quilty, Im more concerned about hauling and offroad. Which I know is an issue cuz you want flex for offroad and no flex for hauling. So, any advice is appreciated....

I put stock length Rancho rs5000 on. I love them. They are what I would consider a firm ride, but that is what I wanted. It is tight in the corners(less body roll), and rides much more controlled over potholes and such than before with the old stock shocks. $50 mail in rebate offer expires tomorrow...

I got some rancho shocks all the way around, but that did not help the sag in the rear when I have it loaded up. .
So I bought some over those springs at o reilly real cheap ones. To bolts and a snap right into place. This totally help out. Even when my car is fully loaded it still straight across with no sag whatsoever. It is fantastic for towing as well.

I will have to say you will have to tach weld it in the future if it rust, because its made so cheaply. But I have not have a problem for 7 years.

Well I was down there tacking the springs, I tacke my bumper to the frame so the bumper would not sag nor tip down wards when towing it works perfect .
