shock question

I have a 1995 Limited w/air ride I was wondering as the vehicle is old and has a 240,000 mi. on it and the air ride stuff leak so I shut the compressor off. I was wondering what type of shocks to get to go away from the air ride as those shocks are $100.00 ea. and I can't see putting that much into it. Will standard Explorer shocks fit?
