Shocks before Lift?

I am going to replace my stock shocks on my 97 4X4 EB soon. I am also thinking seriously about lifting my baby 2 inches this summer with a body lift. Will I need to change the shocks after the lift or will they work even when I lift it? I am going to purchase some Bilstein's to replace my factory shocks (maybe some Rancho's).

Body lifts don't have any affects on shocks unlike suspension lifts. So yes, you can use them and definatley get Bilsteins.
