Trying to figure out if it's worth it or not to up horsepower on a 94 & 95 Explorer. I have one, my friend just got the other (95). I got no response the 1st time I asked this question. Gimmee a break, help me out. Also (you'd all know) is the 95 six different from the 94?

Basically the same drivetrain with the exception of some upgrades to the tranny.

With a few mods such as intake, exhaust, and chip you can pep them up and it is worth it IMO. Of course, you can always go overboard and double the hp of that motor like I have

well it depends on what you mean by worth it. i could say yes or no. would that answer really help? but yes if you do some mods you can defeinatly see increase in hp. does that help?

Definitely, the little amount of mods that I've done on my X has greatly improved the driving experience. It's all a matter of personal preference, but I would recommend a little tweaking .
