Hey Guys,
I did my inner and outter tie rod ends yesterday and just got the truck back from the shop now. I noticed that at low speed, the truck will shudder (I can feel it in the steering wheel) when I turn each way. The only thing I can think of is air somehow got in my system and needs to work its way out? I cant think of anything else?

Also, on my inner tie rods there was this accordian boot attached, there is a hole for a metal tube to go in which looks like its for the rack and pinion. Whats this tube do exactly? If this boot isnt air tight sealed back up, could it cause the shudder?

start the Ex and turn the wheel all the way left and right a few times , all the way to lock, than do it again, , air in the system does that, they moved the wheels while the pump wasn't running, so air got in there,, it will come out,

that hole is for a tube that goes from one side to the other to let air go from side to side when the bellows collapses, and expands, find that pipe , put it back in,
or crap can get in there, \

dang corkey! Super fast response! Thank you sir

do you know why exactly those boots have the holes for those metal tubes?
