hey there glacier i've asked you before for help and you have always been there so here i am again. lets see i have a 95 XLT 4.0 4X4 with the 4r44e tranny i did a entire rebiuild about 6 months ago and that was a task its self so i woun't go into detail about that. after rebuild it worked fine for awile then i started to notice a sorta "shudder" while i would going around 30-40mph uphill. what it feels like to me is a valve in the VB moving back and forth and causes the truck to lurch then coast. i know that that VB gaskets are perfect i just replaced them to put my mind at ease and i did have a blow out so it was perfect timing. Fluid is "Chevron MD3" has any one else used this type before? i did so research and the MD3 is sussposed to work for the mercon v fluid requirments. i don't think its right though it feels like i am slipping and i've notice a big loss in MPG. if i put the throttle to the floor it goes away untill i return to about 1/2 way on the pedal "weird" i also have installed a temp gauge and i am running around 175 cold and on hot days it will shot all the way to 200 and stay. see i live in SF and its got more hills then flat ground and its semi-cold about 60 degrees all year long. my tranny temp is driving me crazy. at night while cold it runs perfect untill i have to go up the mountian i live on and it gets hot then every thing starts acting up i mean like the: Coasting at higher RPMs, More Engine brakeing in all gears, no power when i try to kick it down (alot of noise but no extra power), throttle pressure seems low, while accelerating with my foot hafe way on the pedal i can try to kick it down to pass and it trys, makes a lot of noise, but no power untill i let my foot all the way up then all of a sudden there's a big boost of acceration after the fact. WTF i was going to start checking sensors on the motor example: V.S.S., Mass Air Flow Sensor, Air Temp, and Coolant Temp sensors, T.P.S. where should i start? i have no codes to begin looking from so i don't want to have to replace all of them to find out that it had nothing to do with it. this POS is makeing me pull my hair out i can't stand these new computer controled trannys i hate them!!!!! Please help i've been dealing with this sh*tty tranny for the last 8 months why can't ford go and learn something from GM they don't have recall thier vech's as much as a "FOUND ON ROAD DEAD" EXPLODER!!! thanks for your time again glacier your a life saver! Sorry if this sounds alittle mean i'm just lost.
