My new to us 05 XLT sport has an auto trans with buttons for 4x4 auto, high and low on the dash. When it's in auto mode, does it default to RWD or FWD? There is nothing in the manual about this.
This project is coming along nicely. This weekend I tracked down a sunroof leak to a loose drain hose - pulling down the headliner was easy and got all the drains cleared. Now it drains like a champ. Also resealed the windshield with some silicone. Got rid of a CEL/code P0401 with a new EGR module. Kind of a PITA to install due to the location but got it done without foul language. Also replaced the fuel filter which honestly has the most ridiculous system for connecting it imaginable. That got foul language. Then again I will never have to do that again so it's all good.
Still to do: replace rear rotors/pads, radiator flush, diff/transfer case fluid, track down what seems to be a leak from the front diff. After that it's chasing rust of which there isn't much.
