2015 Explorer XLT
First time user here so please bear with me. I'm going nuts trying to figure out what's going on with the built in Sirius XM receiver in my 2015 Explorer. I've done multiple refresh signals, talked to Sirius (who recommended I go to the dealer after a power cycle). The display shows something along the lines of "This subscription is not active. Call Siri at 888-x....." and it shows all services as "unsubscribed". Nothing comes out on Channel 184 either.

I bought the thing in Germany through a military dealer (AAFES) so I'm wondering if there's something disconnected something prior to me buying it. I'm hoping it's not the antenna or some module blown. Is there a way I can check for satellite signals before I start tearing things apart? Thanks!

Welcome to the Forum.
You do have an active subscription, right? Did it ever work? I can't see why anyone would disconnect anything. Is the AM/FM reception good?

Peter

I just got the 3 month trial subscription but I've never tried the Sirius until this. FM radio and Bluetooth work fine. I even updated Sync and still same thing... saying I have no subscription. On the dash, it will say "signal not available".

Have you checked out your Sirius/XM account to see if they show any details of your transaction for the free subscription? I think you can confirm your ESN number there as well to make sure that it is correct.

Sirius recognizes the ESN for my vehicle. Right now, I'm streaming it though my phone.
