I was looking at this westin skid plate with the 2.5" frontal bar and was wondering if anyone has had an experience with it. I want a skid plate mainly due to the fact that there is a flimsy plastic piece that is below the bumper on my 2003 xlt and also there is a mini radiator it looks like right behind the bumper and i get worried about those things breaking when i drive over things and the skid plate would cover up most of the front up to the first part of the fram which is the stuff I'm mainly concerned about. Or if anyone else has any experience with another brand name skid plate it would be much appreciated. THe one i was looking at was on autoanything.com and it was about 250 bucks with the 10% discount and it also has pre mounting holes for about two off road lights.
