Smoother Ride

I was wondering what the best way would be to get a smoother ride out of my 1997 Explorer. I don't want to spend a fortune but if there is set of shocks etc. that you could recommend I would appreciate the feed back.

I would suggest a Rancho RS 9000.

It is a five way adjustable shock. You can adjust them from super squishy to rock solid. These are best if you change your driving conditions or driving styles often.
