Found this photo while skimming for older XP8 and general explorer info on Youtube this past week. (That is how I found out about 2000-0023)

Apparently during the 2014 Saleen Facility open house, front and center was what appears to be a 2014 or 2015 (not the new front end of the 2016) Saleen XP8 Ford Explorer



Was anyone at this open house? Any back story to the vehicle? Is it an actual prototype by Saleen or someone's project car? Since they had it in a more prominent position - seems to me it was something Saleen was actually involved in.

I like it. They should probably make it more aggressive but with a tuned eco boost v6 I bet that could be one hell of a rig.

With the new front grill, it would look better but would like to see what Phil Frank would design for it - body kit wise.

Dont really like it honestly. The black/white/yellow doesn't do it for me.

Do a remake of the original
