Hey guys, I currently own a 91 2wd explorer and am going to be selling it this summer and getting a 93 or so 4x4 explorer. I will then be getting the 5.5" superlift lift and I would like to get a higher suspension and here's what I was thinking I could do. I recently found a solid axle conversion kit for expolorers and the solid axle provides 2 inches of lift by itself and they have some 8" coils for sale and I was wondering if I could keep the TTB front end because I don't have enough money for the solid axle. But I was wondering if I could use those coils and put 2" blocks or an add a leaf in the rear to bring it up also. Would the radius arms need to be dropped the extra 2 inches also?? And would the axles need to be dropped 2 extra inches too? The site has pitman arms to fit the 8 in lift and brake lines also. I could always ditch the sway bars and double up the shocks. Also, would 35's be fine on the 35 ttb and the 8.8 rear end?? Thanks for the help.
