I have absolutely no electricity, no dome lights nothing.. I have had battery tested, R&R ground connections, replaced starter, starter solenoid, starter cable. Have checked all fuses.
I have been told that it is a relay on or near the steering column, however no longer have contact with the person who told me this and am not sure what this relay may be called or where it is located. This person had a brother who had this happen so I know its happened to others somewhere at sometime. Any help at all will be appreciated. Thanks. :fire:
Does anyone know where the PCM relay and ICM relay are located

Those relays are in the power block, under hood fuse panel passenger side. Check fusible links.

i'm not sure if my exlorer is set up the same as my F150 but it probably is.My ignition
switch went out of it about a month ago and I had the same symptoms as you. There
was a box near the steering column on the upper right side about midway down with a rod run to it from the ignition switch.Instead of the ignition wires run to the key switch itself, they are run to this box and when you turn the key it pushes the rod down into this box and makes contact. In my case the ignition box cracked and seperated not letting it make contact and I had no power to anything including the dummy lights(check engine,ABS,etc.) when I turned on the key. That is probably what they were talking about near your steering column. Hope this helps, good luck...

Check all the big fuses inside the Power Distribution box. There is one called IGNITION in there
