I'm replacing the complete rear brake line on a 1997 XLT 4x4 4.0 OHV M5OD. I took the tank out for this task and noticed that the tank vent line is very rusted. While everything is apart I would love to replace it. Are these available anywhere?

Yes, you have two options. The line you are talking about is 1/2 in diameter.
I replaced my vapor vent line stainless steel ( about $75, 15 years ago). Very hard too work with. You need a rigid 1/2 tube bender. The brake tube benders will not work ( not strong enough) . Very hard to bend. I also used hose for the elbows.
I would recommend 1/2 copper nickel about $79 today price shipped. Easy to work with. You need a 1/2 bender lightweight. The tube is Available from stop shop.
Remove all the abandon lines in the frame rail.
