I just got through replacing the engine in my 92 explorer. The salvage yard did not need a core. The one I removed had tappet noise, oil consumption , one quart every 300 miles, fluctuating oil pressure, and 140K miles. No push rods came out the side so it should be rebuildable. Is this thing sellable? If so, where? If not, what parts should I try to rob for spares before I drop it at the landfill?
