speaker wire colors/haynes manual

i have a haynes manual, and i was looking in the chart for which color is +/- on my speakers. Well, i feel dumb, because it says what colors the wires are, but i don't know how to tell which is plus and which is minus from looking at the chart. any help?

Do a search that is how I found mine on my 92

some one told me the wires that is on the stock plug on the clip side is negative.

but i don't know i kinda just guessed

what colors do we have to choose from? on my 92 f150 negative was pink w/ a black stripe.
