Recently, my odometer stopped working in my 01 xlt. The speedometer still works, so I know it isn't the VSS. Is it possible that dirt can get into it and bind up the gears inside the odo? For a little back ground, I swapped a 5.0 and all the goodies into it, along with the guage cluster (to keep accuate milage on the motor). It came out of a wrecked 01 that was VERY dirty inside (reason behind the dirt question). I am going to pull it apart this weekend, but was wanting to know if anyone else experienced this problem.
