spindle lift

my friend found a spindle lift for some explorers and suggested that i get it. From what i now, having a 4x4, i cannot do a spindle lift, but he seems to think otherwise. if someone could enlighten me about why this will or will not work it would be appreciated.

Ask him how in the world those halfshafts attach with those lift spindles on.

will not work, flat out will not work....anything over 2" will bind the cv's as well as the spindles are only made for 2wd....wont work

Pull the front axle out and you'll be good to go.

thanks guys, i knew it wouldnt work but just wanted to make sure. Why dont they make the spindle lifts for the 4x4

they dont make 4x4 spindle lifts for the explroer.... several companies make a full on spindle for 4x4 though, jsut not the explroer.....
