300 bucks price tag sounds too good to be true. I dont have much knowledge in the turbo department but I think I'd stay away from this. And this is not a complete set up considering you will need to upgrade fuel pump, and possibly few more parts.
Dont mark any of my words, maybe someone with more knowledge will chime in soon.
you get what you pay for... i knew a guy that ordered one for a 5.0 foxbody... well the turbos were junk, burnt up with in 3 weeks and produced very little boost. and the piping was junk and had to all be re done.. i wouldnt waste my money on somthing like this, save it and buy a better turbo system... if you need a custom system lmk and i know several peopl who can fab you up one... i have a quicktime turbo system on my cobra and it was a custom kit just for my car... very very good quality and fitment.
Also look at the junk you are supose to rig up to your exhaust manifolds... this kit is complete junk for real, dont waste your time... if your really wanting a cheap kit then make it your self.. if you can weld and bend piping then go to the junk yard and grab two t3/t4 turbos from a junk yard car and rebuild them your self... then get some piping and fab it up your self, sure it will take time and effort but you will save some money. and just take some bbk shorty headers and fab thm up for manifolds. then by a hks or greddy waste gate and blow off valve and go from there.. i wouldnt waste my time on that crap.. A home made kit wont be near as good as a custom kit such as quicktime or holeshot turbos, but for the amount you will have in it then it would be fairly decent.
That deal is too good to be true. 450 HP at 25+ psi. You might as well put a stick of dynomite in your engine bay and light the fuse. You will never find force induction (super charger/turbo kit) for that kind of price. You would be challanged to put nitrous on the your truck for that price (bottle, bottle heater, window switch...) The kit would have to include other big ticket items (like a tuner and base line tune). Without a proper tune you can kiss your engine good bye. If you want to check out a nice little F/I unit for the 4.0's check out the X-Charger. I don't know if they make one specifically for a Sport Trac, but they make them for the Rangers and Mustangs with 4.0 SOHC. The Mustangs have had good success with these super chargers.
