Spout Connector

Could someone tell me where on the spout conector is? My truck pings like crazy and A Ford guy asked if I tried removing the spout connector.

I have a 1992. Thanks

Right hand side behind the air cleaner - near the ALDL connector. Two wires into a connector with a little square plug "shorting" the two together. There's a similar looking one in front of the battery but it's the "SAW" (spark angle word) connector - please don't ask EDIS is hard enough to understand some days, let alone explain.
