- 2014 Explorer XLT
I have a 2014 XLT that squeaks when turning the wheel. Usually more noticeable when it is cold out. At first I thought it was coming from inside the cabin so I tried greasing the steering wheel shaft where it goes into the rubber boot (saw in another thread). It wasn't that.
I tried greasing the boots on the outer tie rod end and steering knuckle (I think) and there was no change.
What else should I be checking?
