alright i have a squealing noice on my truck but its only at like 1300 RPMs or less

mostly when i stop and start to go it has caused the steering to whine more than it ever did so i was just wonder what it might be

my first thought was a pulley or something that touches the belt but i don't know how to tell because these things have serpentine belts

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Loose belt maybe. The tensioner may be going on you. New one at Autozone is less then $50 (from what I recall)

It could be a few different things. First look at the motor while it is running and have a friend rev the engine. Try and determine what area it is coming from. Could be 1. Power Steering Pump; 2. A/C Condenser; 3. Water Pump;
4. Alternator; 5. The above mentioned tensioner pulley and the idler pulley (which combined are less than $50 @ Kragen). The cheapest fix is the the tensioner and idler pulley with a new belt. Just need a socket wrench to take the belt off. Then remove the pulleys.

When you have the belt off, spin each pulley to see if there is any excessive drag or wobbling.

i looked at it and its either the lower idler or alternator... i think alternator because im also having battery problems

finally found out what it was i think THE WATER PUMP i finally went today with water and antifreeze gushin everywhere i got it home and then put a new pump on.
