the whole story is i was on the trail and my auto tensioner broke so me and my friend went and bought a new one at a dealership for $45 and got back and put it in, half way home from the trail my battery light went on and we stop and cant figure it out, when we get home we put the computer on and read the errors, but it dosent help because he doesnt have the book so we test the alternator, it was dead so today i bought a new one and after we installed it everything was fine except that when i start up my 2000 explorer sport and it idles for about 1 second then it shuts off, stalls, whatever yall want to call it but if i start it and rev it a couple of times it idles between 500 and a 1000, so i dont know what it is exactly, i think it has to do with the fuel injectors because i havent tuned up for a long time or maybe its the fuel filter, it seems like i have to rev it to get extra gas in there or spark plugs, let me know what yall think, i wanna get this resolved
