I have just upgraded my doors to Infinity Reference and now I am looking to add some bass. I am just looking to fill in the bottom end of my music, not blast the cars around me. I would like something stealthy or at least something that wont take up too much cargo space, I can't use the JL audio stealth box because I have rear a/c. I have come up with 3 ideas and would love to hear your comments on them or perhaps how someone had beat this same problem.

idea 1. An 8inch Bazooka tube in the foot area of the 3rd row seat but I'm not sure how well that would work since tubes need to be fired into a corner.

idea 2. Find a stock subwoofer from an Explorer and use that enclosure

idea 3. Use a Bazooka tube or small pickup style enclosure in the cargo area with quick disconnects so I can pop them out when I need the cargo space.

Bazooka tubes aren't a bad idea, for your purpose it's ideal. I have the premium system with the rear sub, and I just replaced the factory sub with an JL audio sub, which eventually blew the factory amp. I still have the sub in the rear of my Explorer, it's not hooked up though.

Have you tried installing a 10 band graphic equalizer, with an amp for the new speakers? I'm almost sure you won't need subwoofers after installing these to compliment your new speakers. Try listening to them at a local car stereo shop. This may be the space saving solution to your problems.
