So my dad was driving back from an out of state trip. Everything was fine until he was coming home. He hit a pot hole and then everything went down hill. The Temp gauge starts climbing to red and steam starts coming from the hood. He was able to pull over and open the hood. Toward the back of the engine was where the steam was coming from. He looked and there is a very rusty silver pipe so I don't know what that is. Its very hot and that seems to be where the coolant is leaking also. So I don't know if its the whole hose I have to replace or is it just a bad connection.
