I had the radiator and fan shroud out of my '94 ex and i decided to take up some of the slack in my steering play by adjusting the steering box. I did it once on an Isuzu trooper, same setup, no problem. This time i spaced out, and did NOT raise the wheels off the ground. Also the corrosion on the screw to the lock nut was so bad, that by the time i realized it, I had tightened it too much. My steering is now really tight (adjust screw all the way out or in same effect) I turn right, and drive, vehicle keeps going right. My question is, can i just unbolt the 2 cover screws and replace the adjuster? Or should i just get a junk yard box? I have to go to Montana Saturday morning . If i do replace, can i do so without removing the rad? Working so good i don't wanna mess with it. THANKS SO MUCH!!
