I thought I would try and ask the question again on how to actually remove the intermediate shaft when I get ready to start my lift again? I have removed the bolt that binds the two together but there seems to be no budging them apart. Do I have to go get the tool to compress the shaft or is there another way? Also did you guys use the extension that came with the body lift? Do you even have to remove the two shafts from each other to do the lift, cause I know that some people didn't even use the extension.

Thanks

When I did it, I just removed the bolt, and the shaft came apart. My extender didn't fit, so I just tugged on it a bit and it moved right up to the upper shaft. So I guess you wouldn't have to take them apart to do the lift. I would keep trying though. Maybe spray some WD40 on it and see if it loosens up.

Hope this helps,
Chris

YUP!!

I didn't even use the extension...and i haven't noticed any difference in the steering at all. Its been on since last november, so i feel that its pretty broken in!! :D
