take it to a shop and get an alignment... for it to be that far off, you must have hit and bent something or have had a really bad alignment by some idiot who didnt know what they did....

i'm i can't afford to take it to a shop to pay $70 dollars for an appretice mechanic to adjust the steering wheel. The reason it is like that is because it used to be 2 smashed x's. i rebuilt it into 1 x. when the steering column went back in, that's just how it ended up. i'm sure there is just 1 bolt that needs to be loosened and the retightened. i just don't know which one it is.

you need t oadjsut the tierods, both left and right to adjust the steeing wheel, or you can actually remove the steering wheel and reposition it if you have the tools to do that....

however, if it is the franken product of 2 trucks, its probably a good idea to go and get an alignment, poor or not, as there might be underlying frame or suspension damage that you will not be able to see, but the computer and technician might..... the alignment is probably off and should be corrected now before it eats through your tires

Another possibility could be that the steering shaft was connected together 90* off going to the steering box. Check that as well as the other suggestions.
