- 2010 Ford Explorer XLT
Hi,
I just bought a 2010 Ford Explorer XLT 4x4 6 Cylinder 4.0. I was told that a lot of these vehicles were old police vehicles. Anyway, My concern is that when I turn the steering wheel sharp left or right when I first start to go forward, it feels like the wheel is at a angle and ready to fall off. I was told that the suspension is built that way. I've never noticed that with any vehicle before that I owned! Can someone tell me if the sharpness is normal for these SUV's? I have to make an appointment with my mechanic asap to check the issue , if it is one or if it's normal.
