Last week i mentioned here that i finally got my new system installed from Tweeter!

When they adjusted the amp and all, i dont think he adjusted it to the HU properly? Im getting alot of bass and i can barely here the music!

Now this amp is dif from ones im used to in the past. I dont see a gain on this amp? Im guessing its called somthing dif??

So basicly i want to tune the amp so that i can be able to here some music!

Anyone here familar with this amp that might be able to help?

Thanks

Don

Tweeter, eh?

Two thing that should help you:

For most people, listening to your system you ahould have half the total power going to your sub. For example, if you have 100 watts going to four separate speakers playing the mids and highs, you should have about 400 (or 500) watts going to your sub because the sub is playing all the low frequencies for the four mostly full-range speakers. Make sense?

And to answer your question directly, "input sensitivity" is the gain on the JL. Clockwise=louder, counter-clockwise=quiter. Have someone sitting up front try to guage the adjustment for you.

Good luck!

Great thanks for the info guys! Ive been playing around with the setting alittle bit and still havnt come up with the proper one yet.

I still need to put the sound installation in, so im guessing i should just wait till then.

Thanks
