I had a previous post on this, but I've done a couple of things and it still doesn't work.

I have a 2000 Explorer Limited with heated leather seats. The passenger seat works fine, but the driver seat does not. A few months back it started get really hot right before it quit working completely.

So finally, I had someone look at it and they replaced the fuse. It started working again and worked fine for about 2 weeks. Now it has quit again, but the light stays on (previously it did not stay on I think).

My questions are:
(1) Where is the fuse located? (I can't find any fuse specifically for that in the manual).
(2) Where is the heating element located specifically? I have electronic seats so I took the seat apart trying to find an element or heating unit to switch with the passenger side, but couldn't determine which thing to swap. If the element is bad, I'd like to determine that and then order a new one. A picture would really be helpful if anyone has that.

I am new to the site and I came here specifically to find out the answers to this question. Does anyone have any suggestions for a driver's side heated seat not working?

The heating element is on the seat cushion under the cover. If either the seat back or the seat bottom element opens (burns out), neither will work on that seat, as they are wired in series. I'd suspect a burn out seat bottom heating element.
