I've got a '03 XLT sport 4dr. and just replaced the CD/Cassette factory HU with a factory 6 disc in dash HU. Since the 6 disc unit was designed for the Audiophile option, the system now sounds "tin-ey." My question is, keeping in mind, I want to remain stock, will a factory sub/amp be the only thing I need to cure my problem? Or is there something else I need? Also if the factory sub/amp is all I need, will it be a simple "plug n play" or will there be a lot of modifications that will need to be done? Finally, if it will all work with minimal mods, does anyone have or know where I can find a factory sub/amp set up for my model? Any feedback/suggestions is much appreciated.
