Greetings Gents,

I'm off accross the globe (again!), but this time it's for a year.

No one will be around to drive the explorer on a regular basis (mum can't see over the hood!) so the only option I have is to store it.

Any suggestions?

It will be in a locked garage at my parent's house, so security isn't a prob.

I was thinking more along the lines of gas tank - empty/full? up on blocks to relieve wheels and tyres? oil change?

mostly mechanical stuff so i can simply get it serviced as soon as i get back and start driving it.

I guess I'll unplug the battery too. Anything else?

Thanks fellas,
BK

ps I'll be working at a summer camp in Michigan if anyone wants to take me wheeling!

awesome

Hey thanks, that's exactly what I needed!

Summer camp in Michigan? What part? I will probably be on the Silver Lake Sand Dunes quite a bit this summer!

Wow that's a really good idea. If you're serious about keeping your truck healthy, then storing it in a big airtight bag would be really cool.

I'll be at Camp Eberhart in Three Rivers (Mullet capital of the world) which is about 30-40 mins north of South Bend, Indiana.

I worked there last year teaching kids how to ski/wakeboard...I got to cruise around in 2 $30k Malibu's and perve on the hot 18 yr old blonde lifeguards (the chick ones anyway...).

I felt like David Hasslehoff!

Waterskiing year-round in Indiana??? BRRRR!
Come down to the southwest for the cold months, and we'll show ya some wheelin'.

Good to see you back on the board, even if it's just for blatant post padding. j/k:D

Would that be the mullet haircut or the mullet fish?

Ranger X,

I'll be there in the summer...right now I'm off to Northern China - a Mongolian wasteland - to study.

Because they have the same semester structures as you guys (here in Aust. we have 10 weeks around Christmas), I'll be able to go over to perve at hot chicks...errr...work at camp.

And that would be the mullet haircut...has there ever been a more glorious representation of man-hood?!?!

For those of you not in the know: http://www.mulletjoe.com/

Business out the front...PARTY OUT THE BACK!! Mullet's go nicely with tight black jeans and a flannel shirt or wife-beater. It's all that much better if you have missing teeth and have wed a close relative.

Peace.

BK
