stranded due to alarm/no start

Hello,
I am unable to start my 96 ford explorer as the alarm sounds when I turn the ignition and it wont start.

I have been trying to understand from this forum how to disable the alarm and am afraid to pull the wires from the rear drivers side panel in front of the eashwr /jack area.

Its dark now and getting cold but i have some warm clothes and a sleeping bag.

I tried disconnecting the battery bit cant get the thing loose.

Could someone please help .
are there any good mechanic that can come tomorrow?
Where should i get towed to in Parker Colorado? Or castle rock?

You should be able to disconnect the rap module wires from it and it should start.
i have a 96 xlt and i had the rap out for a replacement for 2 months with no key-less or anti theft and mine started ALL THE TIME. NO PROBLEMS.
Its the module in the area just above the jack panel. Grey box, 2 connecters, and 1 am/fm looking antenna wire. i pulled all out and took the module out for replacing and still drove the xlt daily.
