Here's one for all you "X" gurus out there...
In Park my engine runs at a steady 700rpm.. but when I pull it down to any of the forward gears or reverse for that matter, the idle races to 1100 rpm and stay there until I put it back into park.
It's becoming a real hazard for off roading....
I ascended a local mountain on friday via a seriously steep washout. Having made it to the top I discovered a branch had severed one of my rear brake lines...... gulp!
I was forced to limp down the mountain in neutral pumping the front brakes to ease myself down. In a normal situation I would have put the beast in first gear to let all four wheels assist in my descent.
Any help would be appreciated..
