Strange problem, truck looser electrical power occasionally when shut off

My truck looses power from time to time after it is shut off. The battery doesn't seem to be dead, but after I give it a quick jump it will start.

Any ideas on causes, and or remedies?

The problem has started happening since the install of an hid kit, and stereo system.

I had forgotten to tighten the positive battery terminal.

no shame there, at all, loose connections happen all the time,,

this may help somebody else some day,,
