So I'm driving down the road today like usual same old same old, when I see what looks like to be an undercover cop. I see the light turn yellow so I figure I had better make a quick stop just so there is no trouble. I get on the brakes , but I don't slam them. Well when I do so my front brakes do what they are suppose to be but my rear does not, So my truck makes a crapload of noise and does not stop just goes right out into the intersection. It felt like my rear kept going and didn't know it was suppose to brake. It was really weird and kind of frightening. If there was a car in front of me I would have creamed it for sure, as I could not stop. I don't know if this is a brake problem or had something to do with my detroit true trac and gears. This is the first time it has done this to me and I have had the truck modified for probably about 7 months. The brakes are about 2 years old on the truck. If anyone has had this happen or might know what would have caused this please let me know. I am thinking about taking it to a mechanic on monday. It is fine for now but I really think it needs to be checked out, I drove it to work and home today.Thanks.

Luckily it was not a cop just an elderly lady.

I dont know much about lockers, but you may try bleeding the brakes in the rear to see if you have any blockages that may prevent the fluid from traveling to the brakes. I just got my '94 lifted and noticed when I got on the brakes hard my left rear locked up for a second or two then released. I think that might just be an adjustment problem on the drum, any thoughts?
