I don't know what they are actually called, but I need some ideas on the best way to fix these stripped out coil pack bolts.
I had the timing chains replaced 2 weeks ago. I have a misfire code P0300, P0304 and P0307. I checked the coil packs and most were loose enough to wiggle around. I tightened them up, but 2 of them only spun, never tightened. 1 tightened down, but wasn't locking the coil pack into place.
As far as I can tell, the little brass inserts into the plastic part of the intake manifold are spinning free when the bolt is turned. What is the best way to fix this?
I just got home from a 600 mile road trip and it's running fine, except when going highway speed at low rpm's and I start going uphill. Once I start going up the hill, it starts missing and slightly loses power. As soon as I get to the top of the hill, it starts firing on all cylinders again.
This misfire issue isn't going away until I can lock down those coil packs, so I'm open to suggestions......
