i went to change out my seats on my x, and the bolt on the back of the seat near the middle is stripped, anything i can do to get it out?

Those are a real pain to remove when stripped. Since the head is round you might try to cut/grind a slot across it to remove with a Large flat head screw driver.

If that fails, drilling it(left handed bit) in the center and use a easy out to back it out.

Once it is backed out a bit a pair of vise grips can be used. Just soak the threads with PB blaster or WD-40. You can see the backside of the bolt under the rig on top of the trans area.
Good luck!

if the threads are actually stripped then you want to force a wedge in under the bolt head then turn the bolt/wrench. A thin trim bar, a screwdriver etc, something to apply outward pressure so new threads will grab.

If there's a welded nut on the backside that's broke loose and turning you have to find some way to stop it from turning - vise grip. or cut it off

I actually had to use an air hammer/chisel and then a sledge to break the head off then knock what was left through the floor.

I was able to remove the seat that way, but that means to remove that bolt it is now a 2 person job if I"m not lucky... I'm using a "nut" under the truck now and a different style bolt on that one spot.
