Stuck - Remove EGR Tube to Remove Upper Intake

His SOHC would not have an aluminum lower.
just mentioning in general what i had to do on one of the ones i did. more of a broad statement like unless there is something visibly particularly wrong its an easy job.

Her. I’m a woman.

Also! An update:
I did finally start her the next morning, and found that the idle was terrible. I thought that I had messed something up or that the gaskets weren’t on right. I was stressed that I now had a vehicle sized paperweight in my garage.

Thankfully I came back later in the evening with a cooler head and started taking everything apart again. I found that I missed two vacuum hoses on the backside of the upper intake, so I didn’t have to take EVERYTHING apart.

After fixing the vacuum hoses, I’ve had no issues with her starting up in the cold, and I have no oil leak or anything else. I’m super happy with my repair now.

Lol...sorry about that! Anyway, great job double-checking your work and finding the issue. Glad to see you're back up and running!

It’s all good. It’s hard to know man from woman from words on a screen.
