I'm looking at getting 2 10" Infinity(I love the brand!:D)1030W or 1020W Reference Subs rated at 250RMS each. Now I was looking at various amps for this setup when I came across some info saying I could hook up the subs in parallel to get only 2 ohms. Would this mean I only need a mono-channel amp since I'm splitting the "+" and "-" cables? Also do I need cross-overs to split up the frequencies of sound? Or can I just use the high/low pass filters on the amp? Thanx Alot you guys have been great at answering all of my questions!

If they are 4 ohm subs then you would wire them in parellel and that would give you a 2 ohm load which almost all mono amps are good for. You don't need a crossover, any good amp mono amp doesn't send highs to the subs.
For the amp you want something that does 450-550 watts RMS at 2 ohms. And use at least 8 gauge wire (use 4 gauge if you can)
