Subscribe to Forum

I just subscribed to this forum......what does that mean? I clicked the little link and it told me thank you your subscription has been added. So what will this do now?

You know when you post to a thread and you get updates via e-mail when someone else posts, well that button allows you to get them e-mail's without having to post to the thread

ok that's cool. well how do i unsubscribe cause I bet I would be getting a ton of emails by subscribing to the General Explorations thread.

You only get emails of the posts you respond to or start, if you want to unsubscribe click on the profile button and scroll down to the bottom it will show you all the current treads you are subscribed to, just click on unsubscribe...

I recently unsubscribed from ALL threads by accident. Instead of looking for all the threads that I have replied to, I thought it would be easier to just subscribe to all the forums and then unsubscribe from the threads that I dont want updates on. This doesnt seem to be working. I subscribed to some forums but havnt got any post notifications yet. I know people have posted in them. Whats wrong?
