Subwoofer/ Amp questions. Help me pick my new amp.

Well, I got my subs from one of my dads friends (they were free) so im not complaining. They are Orion Cobalt series, one of them is blown, doesnt work at all, but the other one hits well, but its old. So i'm looking to get a new setup

My Sister works at best buy, and i just realized that i can get a HUGE discount on subs and other car aurdio products there, so i would like to get Two infinity 12's

^ she gets those for 49.95 a piece.

I'm Solid i want those, now for the amp. Should i go for a High powered two channel, Two low power Mono's, or one high powered mono Bridged? Heres some options:

Two last questions, Bridging amps..is it good, bad, or does it really matter? Explain the concept of that, it would be great.

And OHMS, if anyone could explain these to me, it would be great, everything seems to have 2 or 4, but i dont understand what they are.

get the alpine v power and run one speaker per channel, each speaker wired to 2 ohms.

the best thing you can do to learn about ohms etc. is to start searching- try wikipedia?

I would rather run a single channel amp, and just wire your subs to either 1, 2, or 4 ohms. Your preferance, based on if your amp is 1 or 2 ohm stable. If you notice the lower the ohms (2 ohmvs. 4 ohm)the increase in watts (power, sound). That's about the best I can explain it, maybe someone can explain it better.

honestly, for the money those are about my favorite subs. eerily similar to the jbls i run in my audi.

unless you want to spend more- be happy with those (just don't brag about paying 15% more than wholesale- lol)

haha your funny...... anyway ive actually had those subs with recommended power and blown 4 of them, THEY ARE TRASH, why not spend the little bit extra and get a good quality sub that can handle some power, ive had only bad experiences with infiniti subs, i love there mids/highs but hate there subs..

i love there mids/highs but hate there subs..

I didn't disagree with what others have suggested, and if you look up earlier in the thread I gave him a bestbuy link to the amp I have.
