Suggestions for Wires and Plugs for '99 5.0

The dealership is quoting $215 for wires and $65 for plugs. Has anyone had experience with Ford Racing or Taylor wires? If so, what part no.? Any other suggestions? What plugs are recommended?

You can get a lot of different choices, the cheapest is some autolite platinums for 2 bucks a plug and the wires are around 45. If you do a search there are a lot of threads about it.

I use Taylor 8mm wires and Autolight single plat plugs on mine. Works great!

That is WAY too much. You can pick up a set of Ford Racing wires (red, blue or black) out of Summit for a little over $50. And $65 for plugs??? I paid almost that much for my NGK Iridiums. You can pick up a whole set of Motorcrafts for under $20.

Total change time: 20 mins. including gapping the plugs. Very easy to reach the plugs through the fenderwell
