I'm installing a Superlift 5.5 this weekend with the extended radius arms. Woohoo! I've got some time tonight and tomorrow night and I want to get started. The problem is it's my daily driver. I was thinking I could grind off the rivets and install the extended radius arm brackets. This would allow the car to still be driveable. Is this a good idea? Any thoughts on other things I could do that won't make it undriveable?

it is not really possible because you will have about 3/4 of the front end apart to put them in and I believe they would tweek the front end due to the difference in angels, which make up for the lift, from the stock ones! Plus it would add about an extra 6 hours or so to the total time!

If you grind off rivets, you better be replacing them with bolts.

As for the extended arm brackets, if memory serves, you can install those and then when you get the rest of the frontend apart, install the extended arms.

Personally, I'd wait and do it all at once.
