Anyone with one of these racks care to help me out please? I'm looking in to getting some light adapters made that will hopefully be MUCH cheaper than what surco sells them for. I plan on needing about 10, so I figured the way to go would be CAD and a company that can laser cut them. All I need to know is how big the rails around the rack are (diameter) and if possible, how far from the rack should the light mounting hole be. i'm thinking no more than 2 inches...

edit:

found this on surco's site:

The tubing is spec'd as 3/4" aluminum. Just wondering if anyone can measure the actual dimensions to see if it is slightly over or under-sized, just in case.

Also, looks like that hole to mount the light is only an inch out from the rack rail..

Hey man forgot about this until just a minute ago and went outside and measure the stuff for you. The tube 3/4 like it is specd at and the light mounting tab center of hole is 2-3/8" from the face of the tubing on the rack. Sorry it took so long but I just forgot all about it. Sorry.

no worries man, you helped me out a ton, thanks!
