1992 Ford explorer 4.0L
More like it bucks and the only way to stop this is to engage the clutch. This is really a pain in the ass. It happens when idling down the road in first gear. It bucks so much that I would swear that if I let it go something will break.
This has been happening for about a year. Last week I had to replace the engine due to cracked head, a real problem on the 1992 4.0L motors. I upgraded to the 1995 with the thicker heads. Still it bucks. Any ideas??
