hey everyone, I havent been able to turn up much searching, so I figured I'd just ask. How much space is there between your front bump stops and the frame (I know its not actually the frame I just don't know the name). Because my 98 2wd is riding like **** (nothing new there, however), but there's only about 3/4 to 1" of space under my bump stops! That can't be right, can it?

So, what should I look for?

i would say that the bumpstop clearance actually doesn't have much to do with the ride quality,
before i did the little bit of lift i had there wasn't much clearance on my bumpstops either,, and my truck rode nice and soft,, it has more to do with the tires and the suspension,(front torsion bars, and rear springs),, if it seems too soft they could be sagged , usual thing on the leafs, and than somebody let the t bars down to level the Ex,

if it just seems too bouncy , look at the shocks, they could be wore out,, or getting bad,,

how many miles/years do you guys typically get out of shocks? mine very well could need replacing...and i could crank up the tbars i guess...
