Ok I am not new to the Explorer scene, I have had my 94 for about 4 or 5 years now and just recently I have decided to get things done on it because it is starting to break down. I have already rebuilt parts of the engine (Belts, Airflow, Alternator, etc...) and I am starting on the look now. First I want a Suspension change. I want a drop, front and/or back and was wondering how much that would be for a kit, or if I could do it on my own? Thank you in Advance!

How about a Cheap or do it myself Lift kit???

drop the back is easy... there is a DIY post in 'useful threads'.

As for the front, I believe you have to change out the springs... not sure the price on that.

how much drop? if it is a 4x4 you might be able to find like 2" lowered springs.. eibach used to make some.... but 2" is all you will be able to drop as the engine will hit the TTB I beam arms....

if its a 4x2, you can use drop parts for a ranger without issue
